Sausage Gravy – Pork

Every once and a while I crave biscuits and gravy and the intense craving led to the keto creation last week. I was so exited to try it that I didn’t even think to take a photo, sooooo photo coming soon (forgive me).

I served mine over 1/2 of a keto bagel and it was perfect, very filling, I was still full at lunch.

INGREDIENTS:

1 lb – ground sausage package

1 cup – heavy cream

1/2 tsp – xanthan gum

Salt & Pepper – to taste

DIRECTIONS: brown sausage, drain fat, add heavy cream and xanthan gum. Sprinkle salt and pepper to taste.

Nutrition: Serving 6, size 1 serving

Cal 337, Fat 28 g, Carbs 2.2, Fiber 1.2, Protein 12.8 Net Carbs = 1 per serving

** plain ground pork was used, with land o lakes heavy cream, and bob mills xanthan gum.
